Helping Hands continues to spread its mission and reach! On Thursday, June 11th, the Medill Reports, by the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, published an interview with Helping Hands to discuss our mission and COVID-19 initiatives. The interview focused on our impact on the Michigan community to help bridge gaps in educational disparity. In addition, we discussed our current initiatives in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and ways individuals in the community can get involved.
Our team is so grateful to have the opportunity to share our story and motivations with the community. As an organization, we are committed to encouraging global citizenship. We hope that through our work and outreach, we are able to encourage others to play a role in alleviating the injustices present in today's society.
